A tuned vehicle is special by definition, but when the car that the project is based on comes with an original design as a standard feature, the effect of a modification package is amplified. This is the case of the Daihatsu Materia, which was customized by Inden Design, with the result being a truly unusual street ride.
Dubbed “ICECUBE”, the modification kit targets both the optical and the technical areas of the Japanese car. The vehicle wears a body kit consisting of an extension kit that covers 10 body parts (EUR 448), a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser (EUR 448) and a set of daytime running lights (EUR230). The exterior pack is completed by carbon mirror caps, door handles and boot lid (EUR 1,200).
The car is dressed in a white VIP paint (EUR 5,500) and rides on a set of 18 inch BBS Champion LM three-part wheels (EUR 5,800), which feature high-grade steel exterior frames.
As for the tech part, the vehicle has been fitted with a high-grade steel exhaust system (EUR 1,198) that comes with a high-flow catalyst converter and two polished pipes, offering a distinct sound. In addition to that, the car uses a H&R sport helical differential gear (EUR 780), that offers maximum road traction in all weather conditions.
The Daihatsu Materia ICECUBE’s interior comes with silver-finished carbon elements (EUR 1,450), such as mirror, center console, door switch covers, side sills and B pillar cover. The car also offers an Alcantara finish for the speedometer shaft, the A-column and the door armrest. The passengers can enjoy a premium sound system.
